Hello, Everyone - 🐾

Are you looking for a dog who ranks '10' on the Cuteness Scale? A gregarious, spirited lap dog? A dog who loves to play outside in the fenced-in yard with her canine friends? A little dog with a big personality?
A sunbathing dog? ☀️
A crate-trained dog?

If so, I may be the dog for you. My name is, 'Baby'. I have never met a stranger I didn't like - I love everyone! ❣️ Crinkly toys and Nylabones are my 'go to' toys. For snack time, I crunch on mini dog bones. 🦴

I have a job just like my foster mom. I take my job very seriously. I work from home Monday-Friday from 6:30-3:30. I sit on my foster mom's lap while she is working and provide moral support for her. 🩷 Shh . . . her lap is so comfortable that sometimes I fall asleep. Sleeping 'on the clock' - yikes! I could get fired! 😯

When my foster mom was asked to describe me, she said - "Baby is an overall pleasure to be around. She is alert and always comes when called". 🪻🌷

Hello, Everyone -
My name is Poca. I am a very friendly and spirited girl. I enjoy life a lot!

I came from a family with six children, dogs, cats and a lot of chaos! My family wanted to move and worried about 'no pet policies'.
What if they found a rental home they really liked but the landlord did not allow pets?

That is how I arrived at Second Chance for Animals.

I'm learning how to walk on a leash and not to jump so much. I just can't help myself - I get so excited when I see people, I jump! ❤️

I love treats and Healthy Edibles Chew Bones. On my very first vet appt. with Dr. Carter at Humble Creatures Veterinary Clinic,
my foster family was told that I was a little underweight. That was wonderful news for me because now my family showers me with treats, bones, great food, and, trips to McDonald's and Starbuck's. I hope I stay 'underweight' for a long time! 😉

I haven't confirmed my ancestry with Ancestry.com but it has been said that l may be a descendent of 'Petey', Spanky's loyal dog from Our Gang/The Little Rascals show. Do you see the resemblance?

Last Sunday, 7-19-26, Second Chance had an Adoption Event at Pet Supplies Plus on Portage Street. Sunday, 7-19, was also National Ice Cream Day! 🍦Pet Supplies Plus offered 'Pup Cups' to their canine customers. We would like to share some of our 'Pup Cup' photos with you. Many of the dogs who visited us that day were former Second Chance foster dogs who are now living the good life with their adoptive families.

*Luna takes vacations to the ocean! Her mom tells us Luna loves the water and the sand. 🏖️.

*Duke is Luna's new brother. He was very well-mannered when eating his pup cup!

*Honey loves car rides to the dog park and has her nails painted pink. 🩷

*Domino and *Maizie get ample 'pup cups' during the week, daily trips to the Dog Park to play with their canine compadres, a front row seat when watching TV, and new toys every time they go to the Pet store!

It doesn't get better than that . . . 🐶🦴🐾
