✨River✨
River is an 8-9 year old grade grulla gelding. He’s 15.1hh. River has been used for just about everything, but he really shines on the trails and the ranch. He’s been to gymkhanas, barrel races, and rodeos. He was a rodeo royalty horse. I’ve swung ropes around him and off him, even accidentally got him on the head one time, and it didn’t phase him. He loads and hauls well. He stands pretty well for the farrier. Sometimes he can be a little hesitant to pick up the back feet, but he will do it. He stands to be saddled and bridled. He had 30 days of professional barrel training, he’s not bad at it but don’t expect him to be your next main barrel horse. He needs front shoes. This horse is unfazed by anything when you are on him, on the ground he can be a little watchful, nothing crazy but he will side step if he isn’t sure about something. He will cross water, go over bridges, cross train tracks, and he’s pretty traffic broke, dogs don’t scare him, neither do cows, goats, sheep, chickens (except rubber ones), bulls, minis, donkeys.
