River Ranch Horse Resort - Events This 4-H group was started in 2023 for the benefit of local youth who love horses and want to learn about them and learn to ride correctly.

We work on body positioning and horse care and understanding all aspects of riding. At River Ranch, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for your horses, a commitment rooted deeply in our family’s rich history with these magnificent animals. Tammy, having grown up surrounded by esteemed horsemen and horsewomen—her parents Ray and Marge Freeland—was introduced to horses before she could e

ven walk. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for horse care, training, and management that has influenced her life and the lives of many generations to come.
