🐾 Fun Fact Friday! 🐾
Did you know that a dog’s nose print is as unique as a human fingerprint? 👃🐶 No two are exactly alike! That means every pup I care for at Carey’s Pet Sitting Services is truly one of a kind. 💛
Dogs also have up to 300 million scent receptors (we only have about 6 million!), which is why they can sniff out their favorite toy, their favorite treat… and somehow always know when it’s walk time! 🦴🐾
At Carey’s Pet Sitting Services, I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality, routines, and little quirks — because no two noses (or pups!) are the same. 🐕✨

Fun Fact Friday 🐾
Dogs who get regular walks are less likely to develop behavior issues like chewing, barking, and anxiety. A tired dog = a happy dog!

Winter walks tip for pet parents! 🐶 @❄️
Salt on sidewalks can seriously irritate your dog’s paws, so adding a barrier before walks is a must. I use paw balm to protect those little toe beans, but in a pinch you can also use petroleum jelly or olive oil. Just make sure to wipe their paws clean when you get back inside!
Also remember: when it’s extremely cold, keep walks short and bundle your pup up. Their comfort and safety always come first 🧥🐾
