These little babies are coming along beautifully. They are getting some beautiful colors to them. These babies are only 11 days old. The dam is a Harlequin and the sire is gorgeous super friendly VM Harlequin

On Thursday morning we welcomed 11, yep another 11, giants. This time to our Chocolate Giant from Northern Rock Giants. She is a first time mom and doing great. Very protective of them but who can blame her.

Got home late from a track meet and one of our very own homegrown 1st time does had a litter of 12 but the one wasn’t fully developed. So we have 11 babies for her! She did good and pulled haired but missed the idea of the nesting box and had them behind it in the hay. So we moved them into the box with straw and then covered them back up with the hair. We definitely would have lost some if we didn’t have to feed and do chores so late. Hopefully she’s a good first time momma, I know her mom definitely was.

These babies turned 3 wks old this past Wednesday. They are looking amazing. Nice big blocky heads and thick bodies. And are they the cutest when they learn how to eat food on their own. They think is amazing.

On Wednesday we had 5 beautiful giants born. Mom is our WE yellow and dad is our gorgeous chocolate Slovakian Buck. This is mom’s 4th litter and oddly enough she has not taken care of any of the other litters but she adores this group of her babies. She may not have been a great mom before but she is now and super sweet! Can’t wait to see them grow
