Could one of these puppies be yours? 🤎🐾

We’re so excited about the possibilities with our planned Lila × Bluey Mini Bernedoodle litter!

Traditional tricolors, blue merles, beautiful coats and even the possibility of blue eyes. 💙

But beautiful is the bonus. Our priority will always be health, temperament, and raising wonderful family companions.

Pregnancy confirmation coming soon! 🐾

Those blue eyes aren’t just beautiful—there’s genetics behind them! 💙🐾

Sometimes blue eyes are connected to the Merle (M Locus) gene, while other times they come from the dominant ALX4 “blue eye” gene.

With Lila bringing merle and Bluey carrying ALX4, we can’t promise blue eyes—but there’s definitely a possibility we’ll see some beautiful blues in this litter! 💙

But whether their eyes are blue, brown, or somewhere in between, health and phenomenal temperaments will always come first. That’s the part that matters most. 🤎

What we consider before planning a litter:
Health → Temperament → Genetics → Structure → Size → Coat → Color

Beautiful is the bonus. Healthy, well-adjusted puppies are the goal.

Just for fun… 🤎🐾🩵

If you could design your dream Lila × Bluey Mini Bernedoodle, what would you choose?

🤎 Traditional Tricolor
🩵 Blue Merle
🩵 Blue Merle + Blue Eyes
🩵 Traditional Tricolor + Blue Eyes
🤎 Brown Eyes

Of course, as fun as it is to dream about colors, markings, and those beautiful blue eyes, those are never our first priority when planning a litter.

For us, it starts with HEALTH and TEMPERAMENT. Always. 🤎

We carefully consider health testing, genetic compatibility, temperament, structure, and the qualities each parent may bring to their puppies long before we think about coat color or eye color.

With Lila × Bluey, we’re especially excited about the potential for loving, intelligent, confident, family-oriented puppies—with some pretty beautiful possibilities as the bonus. 🐾

Because at the end of the day…

Healthy, well-adjusted puppies are the goal.
Beautiful is the bonus. 🤎

Now for the fun part! 👇

If you could choose your dream combination, what would it be?

WHY THIS PAIRING? WHY BLUEY?

🤎🐾Choosing the right match for Lila’s next litter wasn’t something we took lightly. We spent a great deal of time researching and carefully considering what we wanted in a sire—because our priority will always be producing healthy, well-rounded puppies.

🏥Health and genetic compatibility came first. From there, we looked closely at temperament, structure, genetics, and the qualities that complement Lila and our Mini Bernedoodle program.

💙🐶And then we found Bluey of Elite Gems in Utah.

✅ Bluey checked the boxes that mattered most to us while also bringing some beautiful traits we’re excited about— including the potential for traditional tricolor puppies, wavy-to-straighter coats, and ALX4-associated blue eyes.

👏🏻We’re incredibly excited about what Lila × Bluey may produce and, most importantly, about the potential for healthy, loving, intelligent puppies with wonderful family temperaments.

🐾Their litter is anticipated for the first week of December, pending pregnancy confirmation. 🤎
