It makes me so happy to see Swift coexisting with my foster. She has really come such a long way. This was their first off leash trail walk together where she wasn’t muzzled. 💜

Fun Dip has warmed up and grown quite confident under my care. It has been an absolute privilege to watch this sweet man shine and I can’t wait to see evolve into the best version of himself with his forever home. If you’re interested in Dip, send us a message! I have loads of pictures and videos of him here and on my instagram .

Basic obedience, crate and potty trained, people friendly and dog neutral. Dip is 1 year old high energy Border Collie puppy, he is NOT a couch potato dog.

Echo is such a patient, neutral dog and gives veryyy nice, fair warnings and corrections. Dip is mostly neutral but he does every once in a while decide to be a puppy and pester Echo. I am very happy with how Echo communicates with him. The general public often seems to have this idea that their dog should be perfect and be able to tolerate everything. That growling is always bad. This is how dogs communicate and set boundaries. Dip is starting to learn to listen to his warnings but for a little bit there I had to step in when he wouldn’t listen to Echo. These interactions are so so good for him.

Dip got to come with me to Sharky’s. This was his first time patio training with me. He did such a good job!

Check out my foster’s first time off leash on the trail by our house. Boy is he fast, at one point he sprinted way faster than this and recalled with no problem. This boy’s recall and attentiveness is spot on! It’s so fun watching him turn into a confident, playful dude.🫶

Dip is a 1 and a half year old neutered male Border Collie being fostered by me through Blue Light Canine Foundation | Dog Rescue. He is people friendly (although shy if you’re overbearing) and dog neutral. He has his basic obedience down + is crate and potty trained. Dip would benefit from an active household, preferably with herding breed experience, he is NOT a couch potato type dog and thrives off of learning. He is young, loves to work and is very moldable so he could honestly go down various routes. If you think you’d be interested in Dip, reach out!

Something I really regret is not getting a group picture with my first foster. I have a pack pic, but not with me. So I am making more memories the second time around. 💕

Swift practicing her swimming for the dock season!

Swift’s personal best in NADD is 16’7. She was consistently getting around 16 feet of air, with a new PB at each trial. She has her DS title and is halfway to her DSA title. Unfortunately, she lost a lot of confidence at her last dock trial out of nowhere and crumbled under pressure. Well, my grandparents lost their house to fire a while back and the rental house they are currently staying in has a pool! So we’ve been reworking her confidence! We plan to try out some dock this year to see where she’s at!

They’re never just dogs. They’ve been with me through my toughest moments, taught me everything I know and have opened up so many different opportunities for me. 💜
