It’s come to our attention that collectively, next to Mission Oaks Off Leash, visitors haven’t been neighborly in preventing and/or picking up after dogs, p**ping on nearby lawns and in F Canyon, where they have tons of flies.
Please be respectful, keep your dogs on leash in F Canyon and always pick up after your dog in and around the park.

Just a couple of friendly PSA reminders:
1. Please keep your pups from digging at the parks-it damages the turf and especially at Freedom Park, there is damage being done to the DG.
Filling in the holes is inadequate, the soil needs to be compacted, and the layers under the DG are getting compromised.
2. It may not be your dog’s p**p, but it is your dog park. Please watch your dogs & pick up p**p, whether it was from your pup or one that someone else missed. The shoe you save may be your own.

Per the PVRPD website "Field Conditions" link, all dog parks are closed today 4/1/2026. Parts of Camarillo received 1/2 - 1 inch of rain in the last 24 hours.

Per PVRPD, All dog parks are closed due to the rain. Just like in October, unusually heavy rainfall will lead to extended closure days.
