Recently we've had to let a couple clients search the seas for a better fit and and as always we wish those pups years of happy grooming with the best groomer for them. At Canine Cove we think that now is the perfect time to honor one of our favorite policies....

At Canine Cove, we love a shipshape haircut—but we love your pup more. We’ll never push a dog through pain, fear, or unnecessary discomfort just for a prettier groom.

This is especially true for our **youngest deckhands and seasoned old salts.** 🥹 Puppies are still learning the ropes, and our senior pups may need extra breaks, modified services, or a “good enough for today” haircut. ❤️

Sometimes great grooming means building trust. Sometimes it means changing course or skipping something altogether.

When you leave your pup in our care, we ask that you trust your grooming crew to make the best choices for them. We’ll always try our very best—but their comfort and safety come before a perfect haircut.

⚓️ **Comfort over perfection. Trust over force. Humanity over vanity.**

Because the greatest treasure in our Cove will always be the pups. 🐾💛

🏴‍☠️⚓ **The Canine Cove crew has returned from SUPERZOO!** ⚓🏴‍☠️

We’ll admit, this crew is a wee bit weary from our voyage… but we’ve returned with our heads **FULL of new ideas and inspiration!** 🐾💡

We spent our trip learning, exploring, and gathering plenty of new tricks and treasures to help us make Canine Cove even better for the pups and people we serve.

A HUGE thank ye to our wonderful clients for your patience while we closed up the Cove and set sail for this adventure. 💛 Having your support gives us the chance to keep learning, growing, and becoming better groomers and business owners.

And mates… **there be exciting things on the horizon!** 👀🏴‍☠️ We brought home more than tired feet and full suitcases—we brought back plenty of ideas that we can’t wait to put into action!

🏴‍☠️ **We’re setting sail for SUPERZOO!** 🐾⛵

The Canine Cove crew is heading off on an adventure for a few days of **education, inspiration, and growth** so we can bring even more great things home to our treasured pups! 🐶💛

⚓ **The shop will be closed until Friday, August 14th.**

While we’re away, we’ll do our best to check phones, texts, and emails when we can. If you don’t hear from us right away, don’t worry—we promise to get back to you as soon as we’re back aboard!

We’re SO excited for this opportunity to learn, grow, discover new products and techniques, and find even more ways to make Canine Cove the best experience possible for you and your pups.

Ahoy!

July has come to an end and Nick and I are taking a much needed rest and recovery weekend. As many of you know, Nick was put on light duty by his doctor last week due to a bad fall the previous weekend. I've been doing my best to keep up and we really appreciate all your understanding and well wishes 🙏 ❤️ ✨️ One more week and he should be back to the heavy lifting just in time for our trip to Superzoo! There we will be meeting with other industry professionals, taking classes, and trying out all that is new and innovative in the grooming world!

🌟 We will be closed August 11-13th while we attend the conference and will be back in the shop on the 14th for your pups! ❤️ 🐾
