Ingredients:
90 g (1 cup) rolled oats
120 g (1 cup) oat flour
120 g (½ cup) cooked carrots, finely puréed
1 large egg
60 g (¼ cup) plain pumpkin purée (unsweetened)
30 g (2 tbsp) natural peanut butter (xylitol-free, unsalted)
15 mL (1 tbsp) extra-virgin olive oil
30–60 mL (2–4 tbsp) water, as needed
Supplements:
7 g (1 tbsp) ground flaxseed meal
5 g (1 tbsp) chia seeds, finely ground
2.5 mL (½ tsp) fish oil
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the carrot purée, egg, pumpkin, peanut butter, and olive oil until well combined.
Add the rolled oats, oat flour, flaxseed, and chia seeds.
Mix thoroughly, adding water 1 tablespoon at a time until a soft, workable dough forms.
Roll the dough to approximately 1.3 cm (½ inch) thick and cut into small bone shapes or bite-size pieces.
Arrange the treats on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until firm and lightly golden around the edges.
For crunchier treats, turn off the oven and leave them inside for another 15–20 minutes with the door slightly open.
Cool completely on a wire rack, then lightly brush with the fish oil before serving.

Store completely cooled treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw frozen treats overnight in the refrigerator before serving. Discard any treats that develop mold, excess moisture, or an unusual smell.
