We test for conditions like heart murmurs and liver shunts because we have been there. We have experienced the pain and anxiety of losing a fur baby to a health condition. While life is always risky, we do everything we can to prevent genetic issues.

Bella is ABSOLUTELY beautiful

Sorry it has been so long since we updated you on Bella (Winnie). She has been such a joy to us. She keeps us laughing. She loves to go camping, hiking and biking with us. She gets very excited when we get out the bike trailer. She is a bundle of energy but also loves cuddle time!! Here is a picture of her at Christmas with her Christmas sweater on.

All the birthdays

Maggie turned 1 today, January 19, 2026! It has been an exciting year... we have fallen so in love with her! She is exemplary in every way. We carry her in a backpack shopping, and hundreds of people have stopped us over the past 9 months to talk, coo, kiss, pet and rave over her. Sometimes there is a line to get to her... she is super well socialized and the most common comment we get is how calm she is! We have given your name and website many times to people who have loved her calm and sweet personality.

She is unbelievably sweet and she tries to please us... she loves her crate and sleeps 10 hours at night, and 2-5 hours during the day.

We cannot thank you enough for the amazing puppy you gave us!

Have you thought about your schnauzers treats lately?

I've been doing a deep dive into the pros/cons of treats. Sadly a large portion of the treats sitting on store shelves are full of high fats, fillers and shockingly dyes along with artificial flavors.

The absolute best go-to treats that you can get are single ingredient freeze dried or fresh.

Our current favorites right now are freeze-dried venison, rabbit, and beef liver!

These are all a great go-to for daily treats and support the gut health.

Treats to avoid are pork, bully sticks, anything with cheese or dehydrated bacon. These are very high in fat which can increase the chance for pancreatitis.

This might be one of the happiest updates I've ever gotten!

Sorry for the late response, Puppy life and home life have been quite busy since the day I took those little cuties home.
Everyone here is doing quite well. The puppies are big stinkers butts and adorable. It's so much cuteness I can't even stand it.
