Had our lgd losing its mind outside so turned one of the dobermans out to back her up but evidently that was a bad choice 🤦🏻‍♀️. Thought it was a bear but it was a porcupine 😭. I do have to say I even myself am impressed with the temperaments on the dogs we produce. She was in the middle of going after the porcupine and had already touched it when I saw what it was and called her and she immediately stopped and came strait back to me. She then proceeded to sit absolutely still in our living room while I removed each quill with needle nose pliers. Not once did she growl, snap or move. The quill’s are very painful so for her to sit and let me do that was a miracle. (Yes i had immediately called our vets emergency line and she knows the experience I have in the medical and vet field and authorized me removing them since I know how to do so without leaving pieces which can be a very bad deal if left as they move deeper into the skin if left).

Ember just gets prettier and prettier and I love getting updates from families on their training and growth! 💗
