Divine Dog Grooming *Not taking new dogs at this time* Home based grooming salon: quiet, low stress, 1 dog/family. We offer quiet, cage free grooming.

Your dog will be groomed start to finish, which shortens the time they are away from you. Each groom includes bath, coat conditioning, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, haircut and/or de-shed. Grooming is by appointment only and only accepting dogs under 20 lbs.

Just finishing a 4 day grooming convention at the All American Grooming Show down in Chicago. I took 12 classes, which comes to 16 hours of continuing education. There is also a huge trade show full of grooming tools, equipment, and products, plus some things for the dogs’ owners too. There were so many beautiful dogs to see, grooming competitions to watch, demo dogs in the seminars, and learning from some of the top names in this industry.

Picture is of the top 4 out of 12 dogs that were in the Abstract Runway competition, where more simple patterns are carved into the coat. I’m just amazed at the talent of these groomers.

Did you know that I offer between grooming nail trims for $10? This includes a complimentary eye corners shave (where eye boogies collect) and butt shave (we know what collects there…).
This is a quick appointment and done while you wait.
This is not a walk in service, so please send a text and we will figure out a good day/time to come in.

*I only offer this to current clients for between groom maintenance, but may include other dogs in the household who don’t come for grooming.

It’s that time of year where we groomers play the game “Is It A Tick Or Is It A Growth?”. I play on level Difficult because I can’t dry dogs in my reading glasses 😂.
Upon closer inspection, no legs equals growth, not a tick.
So just an fyi, ticks are terrible this season!

I have room to add a few new, small dogs (under 20 lbs) to my grooming schedule in the next few weeks. After that, my books will be closed for the summer.
