We believe grooming should feel comfortable, relaxed, and as stress-free as possible.
At Bark & Shine Dog Salon, your dog is not kept in a kennel before or after grooming. Instead, dogs can relax, move around, and enjoy supervised time in our open, cage-free environment.

No waiting in traditional kennels or cages. Your dog has the freedom to relax and move around before and after their grooming service.
🐾 Supervised Freedom to Move & Play
Dogs are able to explore, stretch their legs, play, and relax in a comfortable environment while being supervised.
💕 Build Positive Relationships
A cage-free environment gives your dog more opportunities to become comfortable with their groomer and build a positive relationship over time. They may also enjoy safe, supervised social interaction with other dogs when appropriate.
🏡 Playpens Available Upon Request
Every dog is different. If your dog prefers their own personal space—or if you would prefer your dog to be separated—we are happy to provide a playpen.
🔐 Triple-Door Safety System
Our salon has three separate doors/barriers between the dogs and the outside, providing an extra layer of protection when clients enter and leave.

We understand that not every dog enjoys being around other dogs. We always consider each dog's personality, comfort level, behavior, and safety before allowing interaction.
