Hi everyone,
As some of you know, I have been dealing with some health issues over the past couple of years. Though we thought they were under control, unfortunately, they have begun to rear their ugly heads once again.
Rebarkas is a lot of hard work. The larger events and the event season in general have just begun to take their toll. So I have made the difficult decision to close Rebarkas Pup Treats.
I have met so many wonderful people and made some furever friends, and am so grateful. I will always hold you and this time dear in my heart.
I would like to thank everyone for their support over the past several years.
To my husband, what can I say? I think you have burned your fingers more than I have 😂 You have done more for Rebarkas than I could have ever asked. You are my Best Friend!!
You are my hero!!

October is Pit Bull Awareness month 🐾 😃

October marks the annual Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, a nationwide awareness initiative promoting dog adoption from shelters and highlighting the vast number of animals requiring a permanent home. Many individuals are unaware that shelters often euthanize healthy animals due to overcrowding. One viable solution to this issue is adopting instead of shopping. Countless lives are at stake. Please share photos of your rescue animals, your location, and let us know how these wonderful beings have transformed your lives.

It's ALWAYS a Pug causing trouble 💙🐾

12 Year Old Pulled Over While Trying to Save Her Puppy In Texas, a 12 year old girl, home sick from school, was thrown into a terrifying situation. Her mom wasn’t answering, and her brand-new puppy was dying before her eyes.

Panicked but determined, she grabbed the car keys. Though she had never driven before, she made it nearly a mile toward the nearest vet, until flashing lights appeared behind her.

The officer who pulled her over quickly realized what was happening. Without hesitation, he rushed the puppy into his car and sped to the vet. Thanks to his quick thinking, the puppy survived.

The girl, already overwhelmed with guilt, was later taken to her mom’s workplace. Before leaving, the officer turned to the mother and said:

“I’d usually give you a lecture, hoping you’d raise a better child. But ma’am you’ve raised an amazing, strong, compassionate, and smart young woman. Let’s just make sure she learns what side of the road to drive on in a few years.”
