The fireworks are coming…

★·.·´¯`·.·★ 𝘉𝘢𝘮. 𝘗𝘰𝘱. 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘮 ★·.·´¯`·.·★

As we get ready to celebrate Independence Day, we want to remind pet owners that their furry friends may be less than enthused about the loud pops and crackles that accompany our celebrations.

Here are some things you can do to keep your pet safe and comfortable this upcoming holiday weekend:

✨ Keep your cat or dog indoors to help them stay calm. Consider leaving the TV or some music on to mask the scary noises.

✨ If your pet is prone to stress, please consult your veterinarian as they may be able to provide further advice and/or medication to get you through a potentially noisy weekend. We also offer several different types of calming aides, from diffusers to collars to treats, that are over the counter (no exam needed) and affordable.

✨ During this time of year, we do see an increase in lost pets as they try to escape the jarring noise of fireworks. Please make sure your pet is wearing a collar and ID tag. It's also a good idea to have your pet microchipped in case they do get out.

🦒 Happy World Giraffe Day! 🦒 (A day late)

June 21st celebrates the world’s tallest land animal while raising awareness about the challenges giraffes face in the wild. In honor of the occasion, we may have taken a little creative license and imagined what our own Emma would look like with giraffe spots. 😊

While Emma isn’t quite as tall as a giraffe, she is a year and a half old, weighs 40 pounds, and has plenty of energy. She loves play yard time.

If you’ve been looking for a fun-loving companion with a one-of-a-kind personality (spots optional!), Emma would love to meet you.
