I hadn’t been able to enter a race at 377 Arena since Mazie’s first run back in November. I wanted to try a couple of new things, and the Miss Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo “Race for the Crown” seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so. 👑 We were the 8th fastest Sunday for the Memorial Day weekend race and 4th fastest Monday to win a nice little 1D check. 🦄💕

Mazie girl and I “could have, should have, would have” placed at Lindale/Tyler UPRA had we not drug over the first barrel. Love seeing my friends win though, and proud of her efforts anyway! Rodeo horse in the making. 💛 Frenchmans Fabulous

March update:

Sweet Donald, The Famous CEO, found the BEST home! So happy for him and the Beans! 🤎

Mazie, RDC Fabulouslystolin, made some good runs and won some money despite pilot error more times than not the last month. She did get her first WIN—she’s the Rodeo Houston AQHA junior barrel racing champion. 🥇 It was probably the most treacherous ground I’ve ever seen and she handled it so well! She let me handle her and was smart about placing her feet. My goal is to show up for her like she does for me from here on out. 💪

February was filled with excitement and love. 🥰

We have a confirmed heartbeat on an Adios Pantalones x Sticks Chic embryo and flushed an embryo by Duude out of “Mazie,” RDC Fabulouslystolin. 2027 (and 2031 😉) is already shaping up to be exciting!

Now, back to running barrels we go. 🤠

January Mazie recap ✨

We started off the year with a small respiratory issue, but she overcame that and has been trying her hardest for me. She had good runs and we got paid a few times (yay!).

In her first full month of competition, she made two solid 1D futurity/2D open runs at the Lonestar shootout, a tenth out of a check at the first UPRA rodeo of the year (she handled that like boss), another two solid 1D futurity/2D open runs at the Go Fast Races Thanksgiving Recovery, and a solid run at the Dinosaur Classic in some tricky ground that put her 6th in a group of nice futurity horses on Saturday. She’s only skimming the surface of her potential. 😌💛

We’re not entered at the Barrel Futurities of America this week, but Mazie got to make her debut on opening day. She’ll never know that barrel cost us from winning the juvenile high stakes and reserve champ overall. I couldn’t have asked for more from her for her first run. 🦄💕
