Gizzy’s wish this fall? A quiet home and someone willing to let trust grow at his pace. 🍂🧡

This 2-year-old, 42-pound boy is very nervous, but quiet visits have brought small moments of connection: following staff, cautiously approaching for treats, and accepting gentle pets. Tossed treats and lick mats give him ways to connect without pressure.

Gizzy needs a patient adopter who will work closely with the adoption team on handling and his transition home. Leashing and leaving his kennel can be difficult when he’s overwhelmed. A predictable routine and space to approach on his own terms could help him build confidence. His experience with dogs, cats, and children is unknown.

Gizzy will be vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered before going home, with support from the adoption team along the way. Located at: Indianapolis Animal Care Services

🚨 URGENT: ROSCOE NEEDS A CHANCE! 🐾❤️

Meet Roscoe. He’s just 1.5 years old and has already spent five months of his young life waiting in a shelter.

Roscoe isn’t a dog who wants to sit around. He’s smart, energetic, eager to learn, and happiest when he has a job to do. During a recent foster stay, he showed just how much potential he has with training, structure, and attention.

Now he’s back at the shelter, and time is running out to find him a way out.

Roscoe needs an experienced adopter, foster, or rescue who understands high-energy dogs and can give him the mental stimulation and training he deserves.

Chandler deserves more than a shelter kennel. He deserves a soft place to land, someone to love him, and a future filled with second chances.
