FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED FOR PEANUT BUTTER 🚨

Meet Peanut Butter, a sweet 2-year-old, 50-pound female pit bull who has already been through more than any dog should.

Peanut Butter was rescued from a Philadelphia shelter where she was scheduled for euthanasia simply because the shelter ran out of space and no one had come for her. A kind-hearted person stepped in to save her life, but now Peanut finds herself needing help once again through no fault of her own.

After leaving the shelter, Peanut was temporarily placed in a home where another dog was highly territorial, and the situation wasn't a good fit. Another friend then stepped up to help, but despite her best intentions, her small apartment and demanding work schedule make it impossible to give Peanut the time, attention, and stability she deserves.

Through all of this uncertainty, Peanut remains a loving, sweet girl who just wants a place to belong. She is house-trained, although she may have accidents if left alone for extended periods. We have not yet been able to test her with cats or other dogs, so any introductions would need to be handled thoughtfully.

Imagine what this poor girl must be feeling. In a matter of weeks, she has gone from a shelter kennel, to one temporary home, to another, with her future still uncertain. She has been saved from euthanasia, but she desperately needs someone willing to give her the second chance she fought so hard to get.

Peanut Butter deserves more than survival—she deserves a family.
