The AFA needs to step up. Farriers that attach these packages should be stripped of credentials. It's inhumane. It's incorrect biomechanics. It's horrible to the rest of the horses body. I cannot believe in 2025 this is not illegal

Medical Findings for Tarheel's Irresistible 🩺
This sweet boy suffered from multiple severe health issues, including kissing spine where his vertebrae were painfully bone on bone. The chronic suffering he endured was immense, and his body was completely breaking down. We believe this was due to the years of rigorous training and abuse to achieve the artificial gait known as the "Big Lick." He was once a champion, but when his body was too broken down, he was cruelly discarded into the slaughter pipeline, where we found him. To relieve his chronic suffering, Tarheel's Irresistible was humanely euthanized.
