🐾 THE STAR WARS LITTER IS READY FOR ADOPTION! 🐾

Some new faces have joined the Furry Friends Rescue family—and this adorable crew has come straight from a galaxy far, far away! 🚀🐱

It all started with one hungry cat showing up on a foster’s front porch for breakfast. Over the past year, that morning meal turned into a parade of cats needing help. After trapping, TNR’ing, fostering and finding homes for several porch visitors, including four teenagers this year, a mama kitty brought her babies to the porch in July. Now, five little Star Wars characters are safe and thriving in foster care.

At 3.5–4 months old, they are growing, playing and discovering the world together, and each has developed a personality of their own!

✨ CHEWBACCA — Orange Tabby, Male
The brave explorer of the bunch! Chewbacca was the first to allow the foster to hold him and is always ready to be the first to try something new.

✨ YODA — Dilute Tortoiseshell, Female
She may have been the last to trust being held, but Yoda has blossomed into an affectionate little girl with a love for adventure.

✨ LUKE SKYWALKER — Grey Tabby, Male
The larger of the two grey tabby brothers, Luke is always ready for a play session and then loves nothing more than curling up on his foster mom’s lap after a good meal.

✨ HAN SOLO — Grey Tabby, Male
The second-smallest of the litter, Han was one of the first who didn’t mind being held and has already proven himself to be a definite little lover.

✨ PRINCESS LEIA — Dilute Tortoiseshell, Female
The smallest of the litter, sweet and loyal, Leia looks after her brothers and sister by grooming them—and even helps them cover their business in the litter box!

Adoption notes:
These kittens will do best adopted with a littermate or into a home with another young feline friend.

🐶 They have not been around dogs, so a meet-and-greet will be required.
👧 No children under 6.

Happy Caturday it is with 3 more kittens in their furever home.

The petite 3 month old Scurry went home with an employee at our vet and is joining 2 Furry Friends 1 year old alumni kitties.

The remaining mushroom litter, 4 month olds, Shiitake and Porcini were adopted together tonight as well.

How cute is Chassis? Cute right? And...she has the personality to go along with the cuteness. She has been at Pet Supplies Plus in South Lyon for just shy of 2 weeks now. Rather shocking because she shows off too in the cat room playing with her toys.

Her brother and sister were adopted 2 weeks ago so she's wondering why nobody wants her. Chassis is a busy girl who loves small toys she can carry in her mouth with springs being her favorite.

She will do best as an only kitty. Pretty rare to push any of our kittens as an only but this little whipper snapper will give a bit of attitude to others because she knows she's the cute one and wants to be the princess. She is fantastic with people though. She settled down in the evenings sitting with her foster parents for TV time. She was their shadow following them around. She slept on their bed during the night.

She is perfectly content playing with toys by herself. She can be held and carried around when not playing. She is petite looking like a 3 month old kitten rather than a 4 1/2 month old. We've had her since 10 days old and honestly shocked she's still around. She will be great with kids 5 and up.

She is a very outgoing social girl and nobody is a stranger to her. Let's bust her out of the store so she can be the silly young gal that she is as well as be a fabulous companion to her people.

Tomorrow, Friday, August 21st from 1 to 4 pm, we will be having a meet-n-greet with some of our kittens and accepting applications at EP Wealth Advisors in downtown Brighton. We have some new faces to meet and some kittens we've had awhile.

They will also be doing a food drive. We need Purina One Healthy Kitten dry food, Friskies Pate poultry flavors canned food, and Weruva kitten canned food chicken flavors. Gift cards to pet stores, Meijer, Walmart, Target, Tractor Supply also will be accepted.

Meet Puffin.
Puffin is a handsome little black-and-white boy who loves to play, cause chaos, and keep everyone wondering what hes going to get into next.
He has two speeds: GO and occasionally recharging so he can GO again.
Toys? Obviously necessary.
Young playful kitty friends? Definitely necessary!
Personal space? Never heard of it.
Being told no? Clearly a suggestion.
Puffin is sweet, playful, curious, and completely convinced the world was created specifically for his entertainment.
He's now accepting applications for a forever family who understands that adopting Puffin means signing up for a lifetime of zoomies, mischief, laughter, and unconditional love.
Side effects may include excessive smiling, buying unnecessary cat toys, and repeatedly saying, Who taught you to do that?!

Meet Magpie
Magpie is a professional chillaxer, part-time troublemaker, and full-time cuddle enthusiast.
Shes perfectly happy lounging around like she pays the mortgage, but the second a toy comes out, shes ready to clock in for her shift as a tiny chaos coordinator.
Magpie especially enjoys cuddling with her favorite people—because obviously she has standards. Once you've been approved, expect purrs, snuggles, and a kitten who suddenly believes your lap is her personal property.
She's sweet, playful, laid-back, and just the right amount of sassy. Basically, Magpie is the kind of roommate who contributes absolutely nothing financially but somehow still gets everything she wants.

Magpie is good with calm dogs and cats. Although a kitten who likes to play, she isn't fond of rough housing so another feline that isn't too rowdy works. She loves people and can be an only cat or pet in the home with a lot of tlc from her people. No kids under 6.

She will be spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and fiv/felv tested.
