Brushing your dog’s fur is essential for their overall health and well-being. It goes far beyond simply keeping them looking neat; it prevents painful matting, distributes natural skin oils for a healthy coat, reduces shedding around your home, and allows you to easily check for early signs of skin conditions, lumps, or pests like fleas and ticks. 🐾 Early signs of heat exhaustion in dogs! 🐕

☀️Don’t wait for a crisis—learn how to spot a rising core temperature before it becomes a life-threatening heat stroke. Dogs can’t sweat like us, so they rely on panting to cool down. Catching these early red flags can save your best friend’s life this summer!

🚨 Watch out for:Frantic, heavy panting that doesn’t slow down in the shade.Thick, sticky drool or excessive salivation.Unusual sluggishness or refusing to walk.Anxious pacing or frantic searching for cold surfaces.

💡 Quick First Aid Tip: If you see these signs, move them to the A/C, pour cool (never ice-cold) water over their body, and head straight to the vet! reel:

Are you still using plastic dog bowls? 🚫🥣 Here is why you need to swap them out ASAP!

It looks clean to the naked eye, but plastic bowls are a breeding ground for nasty bacteria. Because plastic is soft, it easily gets microscopic scratches from your dog’s teeth, nails, or even your sponge.

Those tiny grooves trap food particles, saliva, and bacteria. No matter how hard you scrub, you can’t sanitize them completely.

The result?
⚠️ “Dog acne” (black bumps or pimples on their chin)
⚠️ Skin infections around the mouth
⚠️ Unpleasant bowl odors

💡 THE FIX: Switch to high-quality, non-porous stainless steel or heavy ceramic bowls. They don’t scratch easily, they are incredibly easy to sanitize, and they are dishwasher safe!

How often do you wash your dog’s food bowl? Be honest! 👇 Drop your routine in the comments!
