We LOVE getting updates from our families and seeing how our babies are doing. 🥹💚

It’s always bittersweet watching them leave, but hearing that they settled right in and are already comfortable with their new families makes me so happy.

After personally bringing home birds that were absolutely terrified, one of my biggest goals became raising babies that are confident, socialized, and ready for their new homes. Of course, every bird has their own personality and some may take a little more time to adjust, but this Green Cheek clutch has made me so proud.

Every single one of them has been so confident, and so far they’ve gone into their new homes like they’ve always belonged there. 🥹🦜💚

That’s exactly what we want for our babies — healthy, happy, confident, and loved.

Baby update from Dino-Soar Aviary 🦖🦜💚

We officially have 3 babies left — two beautiful wilds and a dilute! 🥹 They’re growing so quickly.

But breeding isn’t always cute baby pictures and exciting colors. We recently lost one of our babies, and that’s the heartbreaking reality of raising birds. Sometimes, even with around-the-clock care and doing everything you can, a tiny baby just doesn’t make it. 💔

We’re so thankful these three are growing, thriving, and getting stronger every day. Every baby is precious, and we never take these little lives for granted. 🤍🦜

Same Clutch, Totally Different Sizes 🥹🦜

Look at the size difference between these little ones! 😍 Some are already looking like chunky little dinosaurs with all those pin feathers coming in, while their younger siblings are still tiny, pink little nuggets.

When babies hatch several days apart, the difference can look HUGE at this age. Before long, those tiny ones will be catching right up. 🥰

Little naked baby green cheek.
I love watching them grow and seeing what colors they end up. It’s like a blind bag with birds.

*Adopted*
Sweet cinnamon green cheek Female.
She is weaned and ready to go.
She loves to be on our shoulders and flying around the house.
She is very quirky and still loves to lay on her back in her cage.

I’m going to miss this little buddy when he leaves.
Green cheeks will always have a soft spot on my heart. They are so sweet and love to be with their humans.
Also Wild type are so underrated look at that beautiful green.
