As I sit here in bed tonight, Jane by my side, Dewey in his crate, Bodhi and Ellie just outside my door, and all the others snuggled into their beds, I realize just how quiet my room is now.
All of those sweet puppies who filled our home with tiny paws, puppy kisses, little noises, and plenty of chaos are now settling into homes of their own. ❤️
And while it feels a little empty here tonight, my heart is truly full.
One of the hardest parts of raising a litter is handing each puppy over and watching them leave. But there is also something incredibly special about walking away from that moment knowing, in my heart, that they are exactly where they are supposed to be.
Each one of these babies found a family who will love them, laugh at their silly Aussie ways, teach them, spoil them, and make them part of their lives. That means more to me than I can ever put into words.
Please keep sharing your pictures and stories with us. Tell us about their successes, their funny moments, their adventures—and even those “HELP! What do I do?” moments. We want to be here for all of it.
Once an Ashland puppy leaves our home, they never stop being one of our babies. And their people become part of our family too.
Thank you for trusting us.
Thank you for giving our babies such wonderful homes.
And most of all, thank you for loving them. ❤️
Welcome to the Ashland Aussie family. 🐾
