Five years ago today, nine red puppies arrived and have been making their own rules ever since. Happy birthday to the (Not So) Easy litter! 🎂

Holly (Ch. Seregon Easy As It Seems)
Bailey (Ch. Seregon Easy Lover)
Peasy (Ch. Rusticwood Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy)
Fergus (Seregon Easy Like Sunday Morning)
Rory (Seregon Such An Easy Question)
Jackson (Ch. Seregon Take It Easy)
Harrison (GCH. Seregon It Don't Come Easy CGCA CGCU)
Reggie (Seregon It's So Easy)
Vivienne (Seregon Easy On The Eyes)

Roclyn Smooth Hoperator × Ch. Rusticwood Seregon Secret RI CGC TKN

Five champions came out of this group, one of them a Grand Champion. Every one of them is a much-loved member of their family, and every one is a crazy redhead with strong opinions. The litter name turned out to be accurate in only one direction.

Harrison stayed here and remains the silliest of the bunch. He recently decided balloons are terrifying and that he will not be walking past one, under any circumstances. He also just had his first champion offspring, with another offspring close to finishing so he's clearly doing something right, balloons aside.

Love all you crazy kids. Thank you to every family who has given these dogs such wonderful lives. ❤️

Happy 2nd birthday to Natalia (Seregon Rusticwood Whale of a Tale)! 🎂

In public, she is a model citizen: calm, polished, and well-behaved. At home, she is a wild, chaotic gremlin, and only the people who live with her know the real girl. We're choosing to keep that between us.

This year she picked up 10 points, including a major, and she's well on her way to her championship. Next up are a few fall appearances at the Irish Setter specialties in Ocala.

Happy birthday, Natalia! 🐾

Natalia is by Harrison (GCH. Seregon It Don't Come Easy CGC CGCA CGCU) out of Lexi (GCH. Rusticwood Exclusive BCAT), bred by Carolyn Dison.

Thank you, Carolyn, for this girl.

Elvis (Seregon Love Me Tender) has left the building. 🎸

Today Elvis went home with his new person, Cathy, who plans to pursue agility and obedience with him. He's her first English Cocker. She's had American Cockers before but wanted a "proper cocker," and we couldn't agree more.

Elvis has the brains, the energy, and the opinions to make a very fun training partner. We're excited to watch what the two of them do together.

Thank you, Cathy, for giving him such a wonderful start. Thank you, thank you very much.

Mitchell (CH Seregon Oh, Oh, Oh It's Magic!) is a 2026 AKC National Owner-Handled Series Finalist, ranked #10 English Cocker Spaniel in the country.

Not bad for a guy who has only been shown here and there since finishing his championship last fall. Apparently he just needed to show up occasionally.

And a big congratulations to his sire, Elon (GCHB. Chestnut's Dramatic Ambition), who finished the year as the #1 English Cocker in NOHS. The apple, meet the tree.

Mitchell (Ch. Seregon Oh, Oh, Oh It's Magic) spent the weekend at the Fun in the Sun Grooming Show with our friend Tia, and the before and after photos speak for themselves. This was his second outing with her, and she just keeps getting better. Tia and Mitchell took 2nd place in her class, and he looked fabulous.

Mitchell adores her, and the feeling is mutual. Thank you, Tia, for making him look so good.

Boca Raton Dog Club, West Palm Beach 🐾

Four shows in two days, and what a weekend!

Graham (Seregon Magic Man) made his show debut and started with a bang: a 3 point major at his very first show! Not too shabby for a 2 year old boy who had never been to a dog show.

Saturday AM: Winners Dog (major) 🎉
Saturday PM: Reserve Winners Dog
Sunday AM: Reserve Winners Dog
Sunday PM: Won the Bred-By Exhibitor class

Graham is co-owned and loved by the Chiado family. They are repeat Seregon family who also own Sam (Ch. Seregon Born on the 4th of July), and we were so glad when they wanted a second dog and trusted us to show Graham just like we did with Sam. Thank you! ❤️

Natalia (Seregon Rusticwood Whale of a Tale) was also out for the weekend and picked up four more points toward her championship, bringing her total to 10!

Saturday AM: Winners
Saturday PM: Winners
Sunday AM: Winners, Best of Winners
Sunday PM: Winners, Best of Winners

Thank you to the Boca Raton Dog Club for a wonderful weekend! 🐶

The Evolution of a Name™

Started with: Louise

Current status: Louisee, Wheeze, Wheezy, Ouiser, Luigi, Louisiana 🎭

Somewhere along the way she went from a respectable lady's name to a Mario character to a Steel Magnolias reference to practically a whole US state. She answers to none of it and all of it equally. 😂

At this rate by next year she'll just be "Hey You" or possibly "Your Honor."

Anyone else's pet undergo a full identity crisis via nickname?
