Whiskers Rescue is home fostered based in Bradenton Fl, we don't have a shelter. We specialize in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted and abandoned animals. Whiskers Rescue never discriminates on the basis of health, age or breed. By involving and educating the community, Whiskers Rescue works to raise awareness to the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits of adopting an animal in need. Our animals are examined, neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLv/FIV, microchipped, and receive any and all medical treatment before they are placed in carefully screened homes. President

The puffs, Sawyer & Sadie are just over 4 weeks old now & saying, “Hi” to Ali (not their Mama). 👍🏻
Quite agile climbers for being so young!

We have rescued a new lady whose about ready to give birth. Sylvia showed up in someone’s yard a bit ago. She disappeared and when returned the homeowner noticed she was very pregnant. Sylvia was trapped and Whiskers Rescue picked her up, she’s very scared, but we are glad she’s safe! Especially since there’s a cat shooter in the neighborhood. 🤬😭

Sweet, sweet Sophie is just an incredible kitten. She’s not only utterly gorgeous, she has such an adorable gentle, endearing personality! 🥹
Sophie and her siblings are almost 4 weeks old, still very small, drinking water, but not nibbling canned food yet. May be sneaking some dry, not sure. They are using their litter box well & playing more each day.
Adorable bunch & mama Seraphina is a love, very affectionate. 🥰
The babies will not be available till October. We do not adopt out under 8 weeks of age & always fully vet kittens along with neuters & spays before they go to new homes. No exceptions, they need their Mom & special care. 👍🏻
