📣 The next Weekend Course in Montana will be happening June 27–28 in Kalispell. If you can’t make the June clinic, we’re also offering an additional course September 5–6 this year.

I’ll be there assisting for the weekend. This clinic includes two full days of hands-on learning and will give you a ton of new bodywork tools to take home and use with your horses.

I'll be headed up north again this summer to assist instructor at the 2 day weekend seminar in Kalispell, Montana.

In this foundational course, you will have hands-on exposure to the techniques covered in the Beyond Horse Massage book. You will also be learning to recognize the visual responses of the horse to your touch when finding and releasing accumulated tension within the key junctions of their body. While horses will be provided at the course, you’ll be able to apply all that you’ve learned to your own horse afterward!

I enjoy all the seasons Montana has to offer though there is something truly rejuvenating about getting to ride on a warm summer night.

As my horses are getting older I'm finding myself asking a lot - how can I best help you in this phase of our relationship? What is still feeling good in your body to be doing and what is feeling like too much?

I feel so grateful that I've been able to be apart of both my horses worlds for over two decades. And quiet honestly, shaken up when I think about doing this horse thing without them.

As long as their bodies and minds feel good though, we'll still be getting after it! I know our rides look different now but I'm here for it and so grateful for it too. I also know when we're no longer able to ride together, that I'll be just as grateful for the nickers they give when they see me coming and the comradery we'll still share standing together out in their pastures.

This Masterson Method demonstration being held on June 28th is going to be a fun experience and wonderful opportunity to learn more about equine bodywork, be able to ask questions along the way and watch a whole horse session unfold!

I couldn't ask for a better hosting location at and am excited for those who attend the event to get to see the many improvements this facility has been busy making this year.

We'll be providing snacks and the horse. You just bring yourself, a chair and the eagerness to learn! To RSVP, touch base with me.

"Posture effects emotions, the ability to respond and cope, physical reactions and balance. Therefore, changing the posture can change the coping skills.

Through bodywork and mindful ground exercises we can help improve physical balance which creates self-carriage. When animals are in balance physically, they tend to feel safer. When animals feels safer they are more self-confident in their environment and can more easily oblige our requests. An animal who is self-confident has more self-control and can act rather than simply react to stimuli. This makes for a more cooperative, balanced animal who is in a thinking state." -

This month marks my one-year anniversary as a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner. Within each passing month, I’ve continued to grow and gain my own rhythm within bodywork sessions. I’ve expanded my equine community within the state. I’ve made notable changes in how horses are feeling in their bodies and the relationships owners are having with their horses. And this has all been done while loving every moment of it.

My affinity for the work has been so persistent that I’ve been finding myself yearning to continue learning as much as I can on the subject. I know deepening my knowledge and skill set is crucial in this path I’ve set out on.

To fill this yearning, I’ve enrolled in another program that I feel will complement my work as a Masterson Method practitioner. All good things take time, and in time, I will be expanding what I am able to offer this wonderful community I’ve been fortunate enough to work with. I'll open up more about this process in the coming months, but for now, happy September!

Big releases happened during this mare's Masterson Method session today. As we finished working through her hind endpoints, she laid down and went into full rest and relaxation mode. It feels like such a gift getting to be a part of the process in helping horses release tightness and restrictions in their bodies.
