🇺🇸 Today we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives on 9/11, the families and friends left behind, and all those who have been affected in the years since.

From the first responders who ran toward danger, to the handlers who trusted their canine partners, to the countless service members, rescuers, volunteers, and ordinary people who stepped forward — we value your service.

We honor with gratitude, respect, and love. And we will never forget. 🇺🇸🐾

Look at this sweet, playful & VERY adventurous little visitor we had earlier this week! 🦦🐾🩷

Meet Tilly! 🎀
At just 5 months old, this little ferret is already packed with enough personality, curiosity, and sass to keep everyone on their toes! She’s playful, snuggly, mischievous, and always ready to see what adventures she could get into next!

We were so lucky to have the opportunity to care for Tilly while her family enjoyed a few days away on a camping trip! 🏕️🌲 She kept us laughing, entertained, and busy the entire time, and we absolutely loved having her little ferret zoomies around our home.

As much as we hated saying “see ya later” to this sweet girl, we’re so thankful her family trusted Rah’s Paws to spoil, love, and care for her while they were away!

🐾 Hey Everyone! 🐾

I still have some availability for pet sitting in September as well as October! 🍂🍁
Please reach out if you are planning a vacation, going out of town for work, or even just need a quick getaway!

I also have my schedule open for November & December 🥶❄️ - if you need someone over the Holidays, right now is the time to book with me!! 📆

Side Note: Don’t forget to reach out if you’re wanting to book a bathing/grooming service while I’m caring for your pet(s)! This has been such a hit and so refreshing for owners to come home to.
Bathing/Grooming includes:
•Full bath
•Brushing/dematting
•Clip/Shave area(s) requested (as long as the pet tolerates this okay)
•Ear Cleaning
•Face folds and muzzle wiped

And best of all, all supplies is provided by myself! 🛁🫧🐶

Cooper & Ace are all fresh and clean after their spa time with me yesterday evening! 🛁🐾🐶
These handsome boys love spending their days exploring the outdoors, so their owner requested clean pups to come home to. After a much-needed bath, they also had their ears and muzzles gently cleaned, followed by a thorough brushing to smooth their coats and work through a few mats.
They both did an amazing job and were all smiles (and lots of tail wags!) once everything was finished.
There's nothing better than having owners come home to happy & clean pups! 🩵

🍫 Happy World Chocolate Day! 🍫

While chocolate is a delicious treat for us, it's toxic for both dogs and cats and should never be shared with your furry family members.

Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, which pets can't process as effectively as humans. Even small amounts can cause serious illness, with darker chocolates and baking chocolate posing the greatest risk.

⚠️ Signs of chocolate poisoning include:
🐾 Vomiting or diarrhea
🐾 Restlessness or hyperactivity
🐾 Increased heart rate
🐾 Tremors or seizures
🐾 Collapse

If you suspect your pet has eaten chocolate, don't wait for symptoms to appear. Contact your veterinarian, an emergency veterinary clinic, or Pet Poison Helpline immediately. Quick treatment can make all the difference.

Pet Poison Helpline #(855) 764-7661

This World Chocolate Day, celebrate safely by keeping all chocolate treats well out of reach—and spoil your pets with a pet-safe snack instead! ❤️🐶🐱
