I still have some availability for pet sitting in September as well as October! 🍂🍁

Side Note: Don’t forget to reach out if you’re wanting to book a bathing/grooming service while I’m caring for your pet(s)! This has been such a hit and so refreshing for owners to come home to.
Bathing/Grooming includes:
•Full bath
•Brushing/dematting
•Clip/Shave area(s) requested (as long as the pet tolerates this okay)
•Ear Cleaning
•Face folds and muzzle wiped

And best of all, all supplies is provided by myself! 🛁🫧🐶

Cooper & Ace are all fresh and clean after their spa time with me yesterday evening! 🛁🐾🐶
These handsome boys love spending their days exploring the outdoors, so their owner requested clean pups to come home to. After a much-needed bath, they also had their ears and muzzles gently cleaned, followed by a thorough brushing to smooth their coats and work through a few mats.
They both did an amazing job and were all smiles (and lots of tail wags!) once everything was finished.
There's nothing better than having owners come home to happy & clean pups! 🩵

🍫 Happy World Chocolate Day! 🍫

While chocolate is a delicious treat for us, it's toxic for both dogs and cats and should never be shared with your furry family members.

Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, which pets can't process as effectively as humans. Even small amounts can cause serious illness, with darker chocolates and baking chocolate posing the greatest risk.

⚠️ Signs of chocolate poisoning include:
🐾 Vomiting or diarrhea
🐾 Restlessness or hyperactivity
🐾 Increased heart rate
🐾 Tremors or seizures
🐾 Collapse

If you suspect your pet has eaten chocolate, don't wait for symptoms to appear. Contact your veterinarian, an emergency veterinary clinic, or Pet Poison Helpline immediately. Quick treatment can make all the difference.

What an incredible year it has been! I truly can't thank each and every one of you enough for trusting me with your beloved pets and supporting my small business.
Over the past year, I've had the honor and joy of caring for 50+ wonderful pets of all species & sizes, and every wagging tail, happy purr, and new furry friendship has made this journey so rewarding. Your support, recommendations, and kind words have helped Rah's Paws grow beyond what I ever imagined, and I am so incredibly grateful.

Good morning ☕️

I am now opening up my schedule for September! 🍂
I know… it’s hard to believe we’re already talking about the end of summer and the start of fall, but if you have vacations, weekend getaways, hunting trips, weddings, camping trips, or other fall plans coming up, now is the time to get on my schedule!
My calendar tends to fill up quickly, and I already have dates being reserved, so don’t wait too long to reach out! 🐾

Reminder: I am now offering dog bathing services for pets that I am caring for during their stay. If you'd love to come home to a fresh, clean, and happy pup, be sure to add a bath to your booking! 🛁🐶

🐾 Assistant Appreciation of the Week: Mariah! 🐾

Let’s give a huge round of applause to Mariah, our featured Assistant of today! Mariah is a key player who gives 100% to our patients and team every single day. This August, we are thrilled to celebrate her 2-year anniversary with All Creatures Veterinary Hospital and an incredible 10-year milestone in her veterinary career!

Mariah’s journey into veterinary medicine started when she was just a little girl with a massive love for animals. Growing up, her family had an assortment of pets, and her time in 4-H taught her the vital importance of caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. That childhood passion turned into a lifelong calling; she knew she wanted to dedicate her life to caring for not just her own animals, but yours too.

For Mariah, the absolute most rewarding part of her job is building deep, lasting relationships with our clients and their furry family members. There is nothing she loves more than watching her patients progress—seeing them come in feeling unwell, providing them with top-tier care, and watching them improve and truly thrive again.

If there is one thing Mariah wishes every pet owner knew, it’s how crucial a pet's weight is to their physical health. She knows this firsthand! Her own Labrador retriever was severely overweight at one time. After putting her on a reliable weight-loss diet, her dog lost over 20 pounds and became a completely new dog. Mariah says she is now the happiest and most energetic she has ever been, adding years of joy to her life. Managing your pet's weight truly changes everything!

Mariah’s must-have home item is all about safety! She swears by having a fully stocked pet emergency kit at home. Hers is always packed with gauze, bandage material, chlorhexidine scrub, Neosporin, a thermometer, and other medical essentials so she is always prepared for any unexpected bumps or scrapes.
