🐾❤️ Sometimes, they find us when we least expect it…

While vacationing in our beautiful mountains, a family staying in a cabin came across a gorgeous stray cat who needed a little help. They brought him to us, and we quickly fell in love with sweet Bobby. 🐱

We made sure Bobby was neutered, vaccinated, and ready for a fresh start—but little did we know, his forever home had already found him.

The family couldn’t stop thinking about Bobby after they returned home. They knew he belonged with them! So they hired a pet transportation company to make the long trip, pick Bobby up, and take him all the way to New Jersey to join his forever family. 🚐🐾🏡

From a stray cat wandering near a vacation cabin in the Georgia mountains… to a beloved family member with a home waiting for him hundreds of miles away. ❤️

Bobby, you were worth the miles. Happy tails, sweet boy! 🐾

Stories like this remind us that sometimes the animals who cross our paths aren’t there by accident—they’re simply finding their way home. ❤️

🐾❤️ 47 LIVES CHANGED. 47 HAPPY ENDINGS. ❤️🐾

As we look back on Clear the Shelter Month, our hearts are so full. Because of our incredible community, 47 dogs and cats left the shelter in August and headed HOME. 🏡🐶🐱

That’s 47 animals who traded shelter kennels for couches, families, warm beds, and a place to finally call their own. ❤️

To every person who adopted, shared our posts, told a friend, or helped spread the word — THANK YOU. You helped make these happy endings possible.

And we’re not done yet! 🐾 Stay tuned because we have more adoption specials coming over the next few months. There are still so many deserving animals waiting for their turn to go home. 💙

For more than a year, Ronald has watched other dogs leave the shelter with their forever families… while he continues to wait for his turn. 🥺

Ronald is an AMAZING dog with so much love to give. He’s ready to trade his shelter bed for someone’s couch, someone’s home, and someone to love forever. 🛋️❤️

We are SO happy to share that Jolene finally found her forever home today! 🏡🐾

It’s definitely bittersweet because we’re going to miss this sweet girl, but we couldn’t be happier for her and her new family. Happy tails, Miss Jolene! You deserve it! 💕🐶
