We have some heartbreaking news to share regarding Major.

His surgery went well on Friday, and we were all hopeful he was on the road to recovery. Today, things took a sudden turn, and Major passed away despite every effort to save him.

I still have Major on our schedule for tomorrow because I don’t have the heart to remove him. He was supposed to be here.

Life isn’t fair sometimes, and my heart is broken for his mom. Their time together was cut far too short.

Right now, I don’t have the words to pay tribute to Major in the way he deserves. Thank you to everyone who prayed, sent positive thoughts, and cheered him on these last few days. Please keep his mom in your thoughts as she navigates this unimaginable loss.

We are grieving this loss deeply. This is one of those days that reminds me why the hardest part of this job is how much we love them. Our clients become family, and Major was so very loved by all of us.

We have happy moments from this weekend that we had planned to share, but right now we just need a few days. 💔

If you've been following us, chances are you've seen Major. He's definitely a fan favorite, and we all adore him.

Unfortunately, Major thought it was a good idea to eat a squeaker, and it became lodged in his intestines. He'll be undergoing obstruction surgery tomorrow.

His sweet mom takes the very best care of him, and we know she would appreciate all the love, prayers, and positive thoughts sent their way during this stressful time.

We're all hoping for a successful surgery, a smooth recovery, and that our favorite boy is back to his happy, goofy self very soon. ❤️🐾

Please keep Major and his family in your thoughts tomorrow.
