Hi BisMan Community and anywhere within traveling range for any amount of time I have open to travel to.
I created this page as a place to find me and help people out with unwanted snakes on their property. I can remove them as long as I don't have to dismantle the property to do so. I will be relocating them to a safe area away from civilization. Because I believe they have a purpose in our area, otherwise they wouldn't be hear. We definitely don't have anywhere near as many as most other areas in the united states further south from us.
I do have a full time job, a family, and a business I help my wife run. So i'll do my best to be available to come around as soon as I can. I know time is a factor in this usually. If you see one and leave it alone, they will generally follow a schedule as long as it satisfies their needs for living their life.
Don't ask me to kill them. I am a hunter and avid outdoorsman, so i'm not against killing, but prefer to only do it with a justifiable cause. Which can be for food, if its already hurt and needs to be put down to end suffering, or if it doesn't have its warning signal (the rattle) to make you aware of its presence.
These animals and probably most animals to me are what your household pets are to you. I appretiate and care about them.
Snakes are more scared of us. They have only one method of defense while we have many. So unprovoked they generally will not bite.
There are instances where it seems like they bite without warning and without provocation, but thats only from our point of view. If you jump down from somewhere and land right next to one that is sleeping, it might be startled and bite out of reaction, I would say most of those instances it would be a dry bite (non venom injecting).
Sorry for the long winded post.
I am here to help them and to help you.
If you have any questions feel free to message the page and I will respond as soon as I can.
I'm not a biologist, or a herpetologist or even an expert. This is all coming from the experience I have had with them over many years or watching and admiring them.
If i don't know the answer to a question, I know people that most likely know the answer.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Send Pictures and stories if you want also. I'm always open to learning more and love seeing these amazing creatures.
