Really trying to soak in these beautiful fall nights where it’s still nice enough to ride outside (before the sun starts going down at 2 pm 😭) 🐴🍂

Everyone say hi to… ✨ Kona!! ✨
He recently joined our herd as one of the main mounts for beginner lessons, and we couldn’t be more excited!!
Some fun facts about Kona… He’s a beautiful 18-year-YOUNG Appaloosa with lots of life experience under his belt. He has been ridden through the mountains as a pack horse, has lots of arena experience, and helped his previous owner’s daughters learn to ride from middle school through high school.
He has passed everything asked of him with flying colors—especially if there’s a treat waiting at the end. 😉 He has the smoothest gaits and really takes care of his riders, already proving himself to be the kind, steady gentleman we were hoping to find.
A handful of clients have had the chance to try him, and the consensus is pretty unanimous: “He’s AMAZING!”
I couldn’t be happier to have found him and to continue his journey with us at MVP! Kona can’t wait to meet all of you! 💜✨🐴

All of my horses have quirks but Finn definitely has the BIGGEST personality… He never fails to keep me entertained 😂💜

We beat the heat this weekend with bathes and braided manes. I’m not sure who enjoyed it more, the horses or me 😂☀️

Progress isn’t always perfect and it doesn't always happen in a straight line.

After taking a tumble off a 2-year-old during a first ride back in September, I spent a couple months out of the saddle and the last few months in physical therapy. Today, I'm just grateful to be back doing what I love. 💜

The last couple weekends have been so much fun! We branded and moved cows out to pasture. Finn was with a friend getting his feet wet with cows. When I got him back, I brought him along to the branding and he was a rockstar for his first one! I’m thinking he’ll make a pretty good ranch horse 💪
