2020 was super rough. And losing you to cancer, was horrible. My heart still hurts everyday without you. We lost Roxy Dec 18th 2020. RIP. 💔

I look at everything you had accomplished in your life. Obedience training, service dog training, all the lives you touched. The negative opinions you changed. Breaking the stereotypes against the breed. 🐶

You were truly amazing 🤲🙏

And you legit where the first ever bully mix breed, to win the American Humane Hero Service dog of the year category.

Roxy was truly amazing!! And the best ambassador for the breed. 🙌🐶

The American Humane Hero Dog Awards category, sponsored by Modern Dog magazine, is proud to congratulate 2018 Hero Service Dog Roxy for showcasing the important work service dogs do for our nation’s veterans.

After braving the battlefields overseas, many veterans return home fighting the invisible wounds of war, including post-traumatic stress (PTS) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Roxy performs a variety of tasks for her handler daily, including sensing oncoming anxiety attacks or night terrors, and assisting with bracing. Thank you, Roxy for being the hero you are!
