We have lots of babies who love to eat!!

Just here at the main foster location, we are running thru 2 cases of kitten food and 1 big can of KMR a day!!

Now imagine adding up all the foster homes 🏡

We are in the peak of kitten Season and desperately need supplies!!

We need-
* KMR
* baby wipes
* wet kitten food ( Fancy Feast)
* dry kitten food ( Purina One )
* gently used or new ( clean) blankets / towels
* puppy pads
* playpens

We got a call earlier today, about a mom and babies in Allentown.

Mom and babies are safe! Babies have some eye infections, upper respiratory issues and 1 has a sack of free fluid in the groin area.

All will be seen tomorrow at Alpha Veterinary Care!

Ruffnut 💕

This sweet girl came in to foster ,as a tiny kitten with her momma. Momma had been attacked and needed emergency vet care. Her baby Ruffnut has had eye issues continuously, after multiple vet appointments, medication and visits to the opthalmology specialist, it has been recommended that Ruffnut have 1 eye removed and a 3rd eye lid surgery on the other eye.

The eye removal will be done at Alpha Veterinary Care when she is spayed.

The 3rd eye lid surgery is June 1st. Time slipped away so fast and we have been so busy, that I did not have time to post this in advance.

Without the surgery Ruffnut will continue to experience discomfort, eye infections and inability to see. This girl needs this surgery to have as normal a life as possible!!

We are tired 😫

We forgot what sleep is

But we are still going!!

With all these beautiful babies and their moms coming into Kates House 🏠 we need a little help!

The truth is I don't have time to continously make posts for "$2 Tuesdays " and "$5 Fridays" , hell I am lucky enough to have time to take a shower , but again I am still here giving every minute of my time to babies in need. As are my volunteers, applaud 👏 them because I could never do this alone!!

But we need help and with the lack of time for making posts and constantly being on social media, it's hard to even remember what day it is.

Kitten Season is rough this year for all rescues!!

We all do our best and it is definitely not for the faint of heart.

We are just about out of supplies and food for the mommas and babies. We are going through multiple cases a day of kitten wet food, cans of KMR ,bags of kitten dry food

All the nursing moms, their babies and weaned babies all eat kitten food. Moms need it for the extra proteins to produce the best milk for their babies! Babies need it for the proper nutrition to grow and be healthy. And our tiniest nuggets rely solely on KMR to survive!

We 100% rely on public donations to keep our rescue open and help available to cats/ kittens in need. We take no salaries, we have no costs of running a facility, every last penny goes to the animals care,food ,etc
