Good morning,
As you know my 2 littles went back to get ready for their next chapter. So as a result the house has a been a little empty, we keep looking in the foster enclosure and even our cats keep looking for them. Well the universe has its way of changing things…
Friday night, about 11:30 pm I get a text asking if I’m still up from Kay Kay and amazingly I was. There was a kitten in the drain at Inn at Turkey Hill and Dawn Jones was on her way to try and catch it. Dawn didn’t JUST set a trap, she really got into it, haha. They had to give up trying that night after a couple hours. Then last night I get a text from Kay saying they got it. Dawn said it was under the AC unit and they just put cardboard around it to direct it to the carrier and encouraged it with filet mignon to follow into the carrier.
It is now in my quarantine area. It is scared, but not feral, and when I was petting it this morning it was really enjoying it. It has so many stories to tell me, oh how I wish I could speak cat. Now to get it in to a vet to get checked out.
Already have names picked out, depending on s*x. Avocado if it’s a boy, Kay has always wanted an animal named that haha. And Emmylou if it’s a girl, that was who Dawn was playing on radio when bringing it to us.
