Hidden Treasures Adoption Center is a non-profit, foster-based rescue organization devoted to the welfare of cats.

Over the last 20 years, HTAC has found homes for over 1500 cats in Connecticut. Our staff is all volunteer and takes no compensation.

Who found the BEST forever home after waiting for OVER A YEAR? Who finally gets to be the one and only QUEEN B of her castle?! THAT’S RIGHT… IT’S SOPHIE!!! 🥹🏡👑

We are absolutely ECSTATIC! No words can truly describe how thrilled we are that Sophie has finally found her perfect forever home. ❤️ After patiently waiting for over a year, this sweet girl is finally getting her happily ever after!

Sophie gets to be HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS with her new family, soaking up all the love, attention, and pampering she deserves. 🎄❤️ She can finally rule her own kingdom as the one and only princess, just like she always wanted! 👑🐱

🐻🏡 FOSTER FAIL ALERT! 🏡🐻

Bear didn’t even make it onto the Petfinder website before his fosters fell in love and decided he was home forever! 😍❤️

And guess what makes this story even sweeter? Our very own vet is the one who adopted him! 🩺🐾 That means Bear will be surrounded by love and receive the very best care for the rest of his life! 🥹❤️

Sometimes, the perfect family is right in front of you, and Bear’s story is proof! 🐱💕

🎉 Hooray for Chili and Basil! 🏡❤️

These two have officially been adopted, and are already enjoying their new home! We couldn’t be happier for them and their new family. 🐾💕

We know we’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but that’s because we’ve been working extra hard behind the scenes on adoptions! 🫶🏻

Every successful adoption is a beautiful reminder of WHY we do what we do. Seeing our rescue babies find their forever homes makes all the hard work, long days, and countless hours worth it. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who supports us and helps make these happy endings possible. We couldn’t do it without you! 🐱🏡

Twilight was given up by owners with too many cats and no means to take care of them. She is currently in a foster home in Hartford with other cats. She is a very friendly, playful, affectionate kitty who loves attention! She will tolerate other pets who give her space and don’t interact with her, and would probably be happiest as an only pet.
She is one year old, and has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her adoption fee is $250.”

Miles is quite a charmer with beautiful blue eyes, and is currently in a foster home in Bristol with other cats. He would love to be adopted as a pair with his buddy Grimm, but can also be adopted separately. He is an affectionate, playful, friendly guy after he settles in. He will stand up on his hind legs and beg for treats-so cute! He loves to play with his toys, and likes to wrestle with his buddy Grimm.
Miles is 4 years old, and has been neutered, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. His adoption fee is $250.”

Grimm is an extremely affectionate, friendly boy who likes to cuddle up in any available lap, and gives kisses! He would love to be adopted as a pair with his buddy Miles, but can also be adopted separately. He is currently in a foster home in Bristol with other cats, and very much enjoys their company. He would also probably be fine with cat-savvy kids aged eight or older. He loves to be around people, and will follow his favorite family members around to make sure that he doesn’t miss out on anything.
Grimm is an active, playful kitty who likes to zoom around the house and play with his toys. He especially likes interactive wand toys, and will leap up into the air and do flips like a gymnast-so entertaining!
Grimm is 6 years old, and has been neutered, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. His adoption fee is $250.”
