I am disappointed, neither mare inseminated with PLA Echo of Bravery's semen is in foal. Freckles was a longshot since she was done once well before ovulation & the second shipment was held up 5+ days by FedEx & Customs, but Grace was done closer to ovulation. They both have checks Monday to see where they are, but Grace had 30 follicle today & Freckles a 15...vet dosn't think Grace will hold til then, but the stud is at a show & can't be collectdd today. :(

I am really frustrated with the government today. A shipment of semen from PLA Echo of Bravery in Canada has been held up by Customs at the Indianapolis FedEx since 1:15 am today. I've been on the phone several times to FedEx and have been told that all the paoerwork is ready, it just needs an agent to clear it, but they can't seem to locate an agent. They kerp putting urgent alerts in the file & gave me an email to contact that bounced back. The mares are waiting in the barn & it's 4 on Friday afternoon.

I hadn't really realized how big Cash was getting til I nearly vanished behind him taking him back to pasture after his outing a few days ago. After the excitement I just walked up to him, put the halter on & led him back to the field.

I thought I'd take Cash out of the pasture for a bit of a video shoot, see what he's looking like as a yearling now. He' s still looking for a new zip code, he could be strutting his stuff in your pasture!

I'm liking the nose bags more & more...thieving mares can't steal from the young ones that need grain :)
