🎃 A spooktacular night can turn scary fast if your pet gets into the Halloween candy.
Chocolate and xylitol (found in sugar-free candy and gum) are two of the most common—and dangerous—Halloween hazards for pets.
Common signs of toxicity include:
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Restlessness or pacing
• Weakness or lethargy
• Rapid breathing
If your pet sneaks a treat, don’t wait! Bring them in ASAP (along with the candy wrapper or packaging) for prompt care. We’re here for you!
