Would you believe me if I told you, that he has been available for adoption for 4 YEARS, right here in town, living at The Pit Bull Pen rescue? That’s right... Yukon is not in a foster home, he is at the rescue. 1,200+ days since he was saved from euthanasia at 6 months old, he has called the rescue his home…
Yukon found himself at a California shelter that was about to euthanize him for space. He was given a second chance at life by TPBP, but has yet to truly live it out. 😭 While given lots of love and care, there is truly nothing like having your own family and your very own home.
Yukon is simply adorable, and sooo much fun! It is genuinely unfathomable that a dog with so much love, playfulness and such a sweet spirit, sits waiting in his kennel, day after day. Overlooked + forgotten.
Yukie is a sweet boy who enjoys a good belly scratch, a game of fetch, splashing in the pool on a hot day, and lots of love and affection. He is approximately 80 pounds, and would do best in a home that can handle his large size, and preferably one with no cats. A meet and greet with current pets would be required to ensure a great match! 🐕 🐶
The Pit Bull Pen does offer a 2 week trial adoption and is available with many resources and tons of knowledge to set every family up for success!
