We have so many new followers—welcome to Traveling Acres! 🦥🦘🦊

We would like to remind everyone that we are open by appointment only. We do not offer general admission or walk-in visits.

Here are the private experiences currently available:

🐫 One-Hour Private Guided Farm Tour

Each experience is booked separately and includes only the animals listed in its description. Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our website. Next weekend opening is November 7th. Schedule Christmas experiences NOW.

We are incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of the legendary Dolly Parton. 💔🌸 Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and the millions of people whose lives she touched.

Most of you know that our sweet alpaca, Dolly, was named after Dolly Parton—a name we chose for someone who brought so much joy, kindness, and personality to the world. 🤍

Our Dolly is also expecting a baby any day now, which makes this moment feel even more special. In honor of Dolly Parton and the incredible legacy she leaves behind, we will be dedicating and naming Dolly’s baby in her memory. Drop boy/girl suggestions below, if you choose. 🦙🌸

Rest easy, Dolly. Your light will continue to shine for generations. ✨

🐪 Did you know? Bactrian camels are Critically Endangered in the wild, with only around 950–1,000 individuals believed to remain. 🤎

We feel incredibly lucky to have two Bactrian camels of our own, Thelma & Louise, and we’re hopeful that next summer may bring TWO very special additions! 🐫🐫

Since April, both girls have had two positive pregnancy blood tests, which has us cautiously excited! Next week, they’ll have a checkup and ultrasound to hopefully confirm that everything is progressing as it should. 🤞🏼🤎

Conservation is an important part of what we do. We know we’re a small facility, but we believe every effort matters. By responsibly breeding and caring for threatened and endangered species, we hope to do our small part for conservation, education, and the future of these incredible animals. 🌎🐪
