Good afternoon! Scully here!

On behalf of all of us at Kibble Express would like to take the time to thank all of our followers. Your support means so much and we again thank all the people who have helped out with our pet food drive earlier this year.

We haven't been active lately because my momma has been dealing with some health issues for the past few months. We've been quietly supporting pets and homeless animals behind the scenes so we can continue our mission.

We hope to create more opportunities to help even more animals and pet owners in need in the near future. We thank you again!

💥We’re thrilled to share some exciting news!!!

Town and Country will officially break ground on a new dog kennel facility this November 2025!

This long-awaited upgrade will help us better serve our animals, staff and volunteers!

The first phase of construction will focus on our dog kennels, ensuring our pups have a safe, warm, and comfortable space while we build toward a brighter future.

Over the next few months, we will have several fundraising opportunities as we work to raise funds for these building improvements. This includes our WAGG event, Jordan’s Way Fundraiser, Giving Tuesday, and a separate Crowd-Funding Campaign for the new building!!!

As we get into Summer, be sure to protect your dog's paws from hot surfaces. Even at just 80°f air temp, concrete can be 95°f! It's surprising how quickly concrete and asphalt heat up in the sun too!

Tips to keep paw pads safe:
🐾 Walk in the grass whenever possible
🐾 Have your pup wear protective summer boots with rubberized soles if they will spend lengthy periods on concrete.
🐾 Avoid walking during the heat of the day: 1pm to 5pm
🐾 Wet down concrete surfaces frequently when your pup is hanging out on a pool deck or outdoor patio
🐾 On very hot days, keep walks short and enjoy indoor enrichment activities!

Danni is a 4 year old Cattle dog mix who is training to play ball for the major leagues one day. Her preferred pawrent would throw a ball for her all day long. Her foster dad is encouraging her to expand her horizons and she is now enjoying long walks, squeeky toys, butt scratches, belly rubs and cuddles on the couch and bed. She has mastered basic commands like "sit" and will now "wait" before eating her meal or exiting. They are working on "paw", "lay" and "stay". She appears to be potty trained and has not had any accidents in her foster home. Danni had some past resource guarding tendencies so she should not go to a home with smaller kids. She does tend to startle with loud noises and requires reassurance to settle down and relax in the car. She does not seem to like other dogs but if her foster dad has her engaged in a game of fetch she is able to ignore the neighbor's dog barking at her. While Danni may be a bit anxious at first, she connects deeply with humans who show her compassion, patience, attention and have a good arm! Apply to meet Danni and she may do her spin excited dance for you! ❤️🐶

Thank you all a thousand times from the bottom of our hearts! We were ecstatic to see all these amazing donations today!

Tomorrow is the last day of our pet food drive for Town and Country Animal Rescue! We're planning on picking up the rest of the food by 6pm tomorrow if the weather isn't terrible.
