I started BARK last year, and I didn't plan to make it a 501(c)(3) until it got bigger & there was any funding involved outside of myself. When I took over the store, I immediately filed to convert BARK from a nonprofit to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Because the store had a historical record of gross sales over a certain amount, I had to do the difficult, extensive application instead of the basic one. They said it could take 6-12 months before hearing back. One month later, we're approved! Thank you, IRS, for believing in us lol! Starting today, no more sales tax!

Maggy has found a home.

Update: she has found a home.

10 days left until Maggy is put down due to not having a home or shelter spot available. Maggy is 8 years old, spayed, up to date on shots, and has a good temperament. Please share this post to help find Maggy a home.
