We have some exciting news to share! We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Katie Roth to Oakview Veterinary Clinic! Dr. Roth will officially be joining us on October 12th, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board!

Please give her a warm welcome, and learn more about her below!

Dr. Katie Roth was born and raised in the small town of Deshler, Nebraska. She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science. She was granted early acceptance into the ISU-UNL Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Throughout her educational journey, Dr. Roth developed special interests in small animal nutrition, small animal surgery, rehab, and equine field services.

Dr. Roth continued her education after veterinary school, graduating from Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in 2024. She also became certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 2024. Her additional training allows her to offer chiropractic care as part of her commitment to helping animals maintain comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life.

Her small-town upbringing instilled in her a strong sense of community, which is one of the many reasons she was drawn to Oakview Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Roth enjoys being involved in her community and giving back, and currently volunteers her time to multiple 4-H programs and serves on the leadership team at Royal Family Kids Camp, a program that reaches foster children throughout the state.

Dr. Roth and her fiancé, Eddie Grummert, are excited to be back in the area and closer to home. Outside of work, Dr. Roth enjoys riding her horses, Oliver and Dazz, hanging out with her dogs, Nala, Raven, and Silo, catching up on Husker athletics, spending time with family, and staying active playing sand volleyball and slow pitch softball. Her household also includes three cats, Lewis, Elmer, and Schlitz, who keep life at home very entertaining.

Dr. Roth is incredibly excited to join the team at Oakview Veterinary Clinic and looks forward to building relationships with clients and their pets!
