Yesterday, we set up our bouquet bar at the beautiful Saginaw Art Museum & Gardens for a Bridgerton inspired baby shower. To say I was in awe when I walked into the venue and saw all the gorgeous decor all set up, was an understatement! My jaw was on the floor! And if you know me, this decor screams my name. I’m a green girlie (especially a sage green) and I was in heaven at this baby shower! My amazing client let me decide on the tissue paper for the wrapping station and I just so happened to completely match her theme and decor! Just everything was so perfect and we were so happy we got to be apart of her special day! Also want to thank A & E Event Planning for referring us to their client and they did an absolute stellar job setting up that event! They did a beautiful job!

Bouquet Bars are really starting to become one of my favorite things that we offer! They are just so perfect for any type of occasion and we always get so many compliments from guests on how fun and beautiful they are. We would love to be at your next event. We also refreshed the Farmstand after so many of you stopped by Friday & Saturday! New bouquets and jar arrangements have been added. Our special bundle deals are still going on today, but after today they will be gone!

Well, Mother Nature had other plans for market night! Since Thursday’s storms cancelled the Great Lakes Bay Harvest Market, our farmstand is now overflowing with bouquets we cut just for you and they’re too pretty to let wilt.

This week’s palette is giving full summer sunset 🌅 — warm golds, blush pinks, and rusty oranges, straight from the field.

To help these blooms find good homes for the weekend:

UPDATE: Great Lakes Bay Harvest Market has been cancelled for tonight, so the Farmstand will be opening up around 4pm after the rain passes!

These bouquets remind me so much of a summer sunset and I’m loving it! The flowers have been loving the rain and heat we have been getting and it’s showing. Now there’s a chance tonight’s market will be cancelled due to thunderstorms in the area and if that does happen we will open the Farmstand up today! We will have our $20 bouquets and $5 mini jar arrangements.

I have to make an appreciation post for my sweet hubby! Ever since I became pregnant and then knowing our miss Ophelia was going to make her appearance in one of our busiest months of the season, Jake said not to worry. He would do all the things to keep our flower business going — all except making the bouquets, he refused to take that pressure on. So when we got home from the hospital on Wednesday, hours later he was out in the field harvesting in the rain for our market the next day that he was also going to be attending in my absence. I was fully prepared to make the announcement that we weren’t going to be at market last Thursday, but he didn’t think twice about not going.

You may see my face at markets, in videos and see my words on most of our posts, but a large part of our operation is thanks to his hard work and enthusiasm for what we are doing. Thank you so much to my husband who has given life to all my dreams and continues to help me come up with new ones! 💗

We have the Farmstand all stocked with some gorgeous premium focal bouquets this weekend! They are filled with dahlias, lisianthus, and huge premium zinnias. We may even put out some sunflower bouquets at some point! There are also some mini jar arrangements still left after the market. We have news! Our baby girl, Ophelia has made her appearance! She was born early Tuesday morning and we have been smitten with her ever since. Both baby and I are doing great, so great in fact that we are attending market today! Well, Dad is going in our stead, but all the bouquets for today have some Ophelia love with them as she was wrapped up on my chest while I was making them. 💕

This week is bittersweet knowing that it will most likely be my last week pregnant with baby girl and the last week as a family of three. But I’m also so thankful that I am able to do one more market before her arrival. We are very unsure on our Saturday market and if we will be there, but we will be able to see our Bay City customers today permitting nothing happens spontaneously in the next few hours…🤞

So if you are looking for your bouquet fix this week, please come join us at the Great Lakes Bay Harvest Market for Fair Night! It’s going to be one of our biggest nights of the season with a petting zoo, fair games, free popcorn and a PACKED parking lot full of vendors! Plus, I’m bringing the most bouquets ever to the market, with our first ever bouquets of lisianthus as well! You don’t want to miss tonight!

Of course I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else 4 days from baby girl’s due date than harvesting beautiful dahlias and lisianthus!💕 I just can’t help myself, but look at how gorgeous they all are! So in love!

Also created a custom large graduation bouquet for a customer that went out this morning. Loved how it turned out!

We are anxiously waiting to see when baby girl will make her arrival, so our attendance at the market’s this week is subject to change. We are going to do our best to attend both, but baby girl may have other plans for us! We will keep everyone posted as best as possible! We do still plan to have the Farmstand open this weekend, so if we don’t make it to market we will have bouquets in the Farmstand!

Update: Farmstand is restocked!! 💐

The Farmstand is currently sold out, but will be restocked around 2pm once we return from the Frankenmuth Farmers Market! The stand will remain open tonight until 9pm then it will be open again tomorrow from 8am-9pm. Hope to see you at the stand! 🌸
