Update: I am so happy to update that Daphne (black and white female) has gone to a good home! Please message me if you are interested in Mr. Scooby Doo!

Meet two of my current fosters, Daphne and Scooby!💜💚

These two are 11 weeks old and are both fixed, dewormed, and flea treated. They are not vaccinated yet as they were too young for their rabies vaccine when they were seen by a vet, and unfortunately I had to decline their distemper vaccines at the time because of funds. Their adopters will need to get them caught up on vaccines.

Daphne and Scooby are both a little skittish, but they are SO sweet. They definitely give each other confidence and do slightly better together. Scooby loves being loved on and will happily accept all the attention you want to give him, but neither of them have quite figured out seeking out human affection yet. They just need someone patient who will give them a little time to come out of their shells.

They don’t have to be adopted together, but I would absolutely love to see them stay together if the right person comes along for both of them. ❤️

Their adoption fee is $35 each or $50 for the pair.

As with all of my fosters, they will need to be indoor only cats. I also ask for a vet reference and landlord approval before adoption.

Just a quick reminder that starting next week, I will be taking a temporary break from trapping, transporting, assisting with strays, and taking in any new fosters while I recover from hip surgery. ❤️

I expect to be out of commission for up to 3 months, depending on my recovery. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience while I focus on healing! I’ll be back to helping our community and the kitties as soon as I’m able!

I’m looking for an emergency foster for an incredibly sweet pregnant cat until Tuesday. 💕

I stumbled upon her outside a friend’s house and just couldn’t leave her there knowing she could go into labor at any time. She deserves a safe, quiet place until I get her the care she needs. Even if it’s just a small bedroom or bathroom.

Right now she is scheduled for a spay/abort on Wednesday, and I’m actively trying to find her an even sooner appointment. If I’m able to get her in earlier, even better! She’s currently in my garage in a dog kennel but it will get too hot in there for her over the next couple days. I CANNOT bring her inside my house. We are just getting rid of a bad URI that was circulating between my cats and I don’t have a single room inside to isolate her to.

If she happens to have her kittens before her appointment, I will then need to find a foster for mama and her babies until the kittens are old enough to be weaned. At that point, mama will be spayed and returned to her colony where she came from.

If anyone is able to foster this sweet girl for just a few days, or has any leads on an earlier spay appointment, please message me as soon as possible. Sharing this post is also greatly appreciated! ❤️🐾

📢 TNR UPDATE 📢

Starting next week, Meow Mission will be resuming TNR efforts and helping community cats through the beginning of September!!!

Starting September I will again be pausing all trapping activities while I recover from hip surgery. TNR efforts will resume approximately 3 months later, OR whenever I am cleared by my doctor.

To help protect the health of my own animals and prevent illness from spreading through my household again, I will not be taking in any fosters, kittens, or additional cats during this time. I will only be able to TNR and transport.

Hi everyone, and welcome to Meow Mission 🐾🩷

I’m just a girl with a huge heart for cats, doing everything I can to help the community cats and feral colonies in the Bay City area. While the name Meow Mission may sound like a team, this operation is run by just me and my mission is simple: to help stop the cycle of endless litters through TNR — Trap, Neuter, Return.
TNR is a humane process where cats are safely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and then returned to the area they know as home. This helps prevent thousands of kittens from being born into hard outdoor lives, while also reducing fighting, spraying, and improving the health of colony cats.
My goal is to help local cats live healthier lives while preventing the cycle of reproduction. Through this page, I’ll be sharing TNR journeys, rescue updates, educational posts, and the real impact one person can make for these cats. Thank you so much for being here, supporting this mission, and helping give these cats a better future.🐈‍⬛🩷
