Pretty cool seeing Jason and the work being done at Sedotal Land & Livestock get a little ink.

He’ll probably act like it’s no big deal, so I’ll brag on him just enough to make him uncomfortable.

Now somebody tag SACS and make sure they have a cowboy hat big enough for his newly enlarged head.

First thing a Louisiana boy does when he gets to Texas? Stop at Whataburger! 🍔🤠

We sent Thomas Raymond to spend a few days training with Alejandro Banuelos Performance Horses, and the first picture we got wasn’t of a horse… it was him parked in Whataburger.

I guess it just hits different when you cross that Texas state line! 😂

Good luck this week, Thomas! Learn all you can, eat a burger or two, and make Louisiana proud!

Sedotal Land & Livestock is a designated Purple Heart Trail entity.

The ranch was recognized by the Department of Louisiana Military Order of the Purple Heart & Auxiliary,in honor of its founder’s unwavering commitment to serving and helping veterans.

Owned by a combat-wounded Purple Heart veteran and his wife, this ranch was built with a purpose far greater than agriculture. The lessons learned through service, sacrifice, and healing became the foundation for Barnside Brotherhood at Sedotal Land & Livestock a place where veterans and first responders can find peace, purpose, and hope through horses.

Here, the Purple Heart isn’t just a symbol of sacrifice. It’s a reminder that even life’s hardest battles can lead to a mission of serving others.

💚 WE’RE HIRING 💚

Bad B Performance Horses is looking for some extra help around the facility this summer!

We’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and willing to get their hands dirty. Duties would include:

• Cleaning stalls
• Cleaning and maintaining pastures
• Barn and facility upkeep
• Watering and feeding assistance
• General farm chores and horse care support

Horse experience is required. A good attitude and strong work ethic are the most important qualifications.

For the right person, there may also be opportunities to learn more about equine rehabilitation, conditioning, therapy modalities, and the day-to-day operations of the business. If you’re interested in gaining hands-on experience in the equine industry, we can discuss an internship component as well.

This position would be a great fit for a high school or college student, someone looking for part-time work, or anyone who simply enjoys being around horses.
