Meet the newest member of the CM Equine Services family!

This little guy is a double-registered, award-winning 1-year-old miniature stallion, and after meeting him, there was absolutely no way RJ and I were leaving without him.

He's got the looks, the pedigree, the personality, and enough attitude packed into that tiny body to keep life interesting. 😂

Shout-out to my best friend Gabrielle Marie for bringing my rig all the way to Texas to help us bring him home.

We've had quite the adventure heading home already from shopping to dining 🫣

This sweet little boy comes to see us every week, and watching his love for the horses, especially Latte, has been something special. 💞

He adored her so much, he wanted to take her home with him.
I couldn’t handle those heartstrings being pulled, so we made sure he got his very own little “Latte” to take home. Sometimes it’s the smallest moments that mean the most. 💞

Teaching the lay down cue is all about trust. I don’t ask a mature horse to lay down on day one, that’s one of the most vulnerable positions for them, and without trust, it creates fear instead of confidence.

First, I build the relationship, earning their respect, confidence, and showing them I’m someone they can rely on.

Once that foundation is there, asking for the try becomes much easier.
The lay down cue isn’t just a trick, it’s proof of the trust you’ve built together.
