Happy National Dog Day!

Today we celebrate the dogs who make us laugh, keep us moving, greet us like we’ve been gone for a year (even when it’s only been five minutes), and bring so much joy into our lives.

At Pet Care Club of Rhode Island, we’re lucky to spend our days caring for some pretty amazing dogs. Whether it’s a midday dog walk while you’re at work or pet sitting while you’re away, our goal is to make sure your dog receives the same love, attention, and dependable care you would give them yourself.

🐾 A warm (and slightly belated!) welcome to Biagio & Cepherina! 💙

We recently had the pleasure of caring for these two beautiful Great Danes, and they were an absolute joy to spend time with! We loved taking them on their walks and getting to know their gentle, lovable personalities.

🐾 Run Free Over the Rainbow Bridge, Yolo 🌈

Some pets leave an imprint on your heart no matter how long you've known them.

Although our time with Yolo was far too short, it didn't take long to fall in love with him. He was the sweetest love bug—friendly to everyone, incredibly snuggly, and happiest when he was right by your side. And if you were lucky enough to share a bed with him, you certainly heard his legendary snoring that could practically vibrate the mattress! It was one of the many things that made Yolo so unforgettable.

We are heartbroken that we didn't have the opportunity to spend more time with him, but we are so grateful for every visit, every cuddle, and every moment we shared. Yolo left a paw print on our hearts that will never fade.

To Yolo's family, thank you for trusting us to care for your precious boy. Our hearts are with you as you navigate this unimaginable loss.

Run free over the Rainbow Bridge, sweet Yolo. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed

One of the best parts of being a pet sitter is the opportunity to build lasting bonds with the pets we care for. The hardest part is saying goodbye.

For the past year, we've had the privilege of caring for sweet Maggie, visiting her three times a day, seven days a week. Along the way, we also helped with trips to the veterinarian and groomer, and cherished every moment spent with her. Just as special was getting to know her wonderful mom, who became part of our Pet Care Club of Rhode Island family.

As Maggie and her mom begin an exciting new chapter in Virginia, we want them to know how much they will be missed. Thank you for trusting us with Maggie's care and for allowing us to be part of your lives.

We wish you both happiness, new adventures, and all the best in your new home.
