We had so much fun in the advanced class, and I met some really wonderful people! We did a mock transport van crush, where we all rushed in to do assessments on each victim, applied our skills, and then we went over the treatments provided. 💙🐾 Highly recommend this program for anyone working with animals, or just want to be a knowledgeable pet owner.

Taught both a basic Pet CPR & First Aid class Friday night followed by an Advanced Pet First Aid class on Saturday - while we had smaller class sizes due to multiple Fall events going on, the students were still great! We had a lot of fun, plenty of laughs (and learning of course) and students came away with valuable life saving skills to help their pet in an emergency.
We'll be doing an Advanced Pet First Aid class for the CT Humane Society on Tuesday evening 10/13 and have interest from other hosts for an advanced class.
The Advanced Pet First Aid class is 3 hours and reviews key basic skills (muzzling, bleeding control), teaches new advanced skills (splinting, impalements) and ties all the skills together in real world scenarios to reinforce everything learned from the both basic & advanced classes.
