Someone (Benedict), said he is still just a baby. Eloise is playing chase, so little Bennie is hanging with momma and the littles. This boy loves to be close to you or his sister, and he LOVES his naps.

Littles update: We are potty training still. They do know how to go potty on their own, butttt, they don’t always make it to the potty in time. So we have tons of litter boxes set up, including the living room, to help decrease accidents. Hopefully. Fingers and toes crossed. I cleaned half the carpet in their room, but I have some things to remove to get to the other half. I also have some climbing toys to hang on the wall.

All the littles are quite crusty from feeding time, so they will be getting baths this evening. They are messy eaters. They are officially 1 month old and to celebrate we are eating gruel. A mixture of kitten mousse and milk. They are interested in it, but they still prefer bottles. They will continue to receive bottles until they no longer want them.

We are also climbing. When not in their enclosure, they will climb to find me and it doesn’t matter where I am. I’m sure they get this from Miss Eloise, who climbed my legs while I was combing and washing Benedict(flea check). She was not pleased.

Anyway, back to cleaning up and relaxing.

We are potty training and trying to learn when we have to potty. Kittens just had first dinner/second lunch, and each one is taking a turn. So far we’ve had a few poops and one wee. This is a victory.

A comment I get a lot is, don’t kittens automatically know what to do, well the truth is they don’t. Mom usually helps them potty the first few weeks and then they learn from her training. As their new mom, I am teaching them and they are learning!

Dobby came from the engine of a car. He is learning that love is good. He is accepting of all cats, doesn’t seem to mind dogs too much, as long as you go slow, and is relaxing around humans.

Reunited with my babies. I was traveling for work this week, so I don’t have any new videos to share, but I took these as soon as I got in. Thank you to my neighbor and friends who came and fed them, played with them, and sent me updates. I couldn’t have survived being so far away without you. The bigger babies, including my baby Dani have had dinner. The littles have had bottles, and are showing me how much they missed momma.

Needless to say, we are all happy and excited to get back to regular updates and kitten cuteness.

If you’ve been following along, Shadow is the last of the garbage pail kittens and he has trouble with humans. Well today, he let me pet him. He didn’t hiss, growl, or run away. Makes my heart happy.
